Creating a cleaner India

I want my nation to be the best nation in the world. I want change in the system. We say this sentence almost every day and chant it at least 10 times in a day, but we never bother to do anything appropriate about it.  We just remain dumbstruck about all the ill practices in the society. We see child laborers around us but don’t raise our voice to abolish it. We feel why should we entangle ourselves with any issue, it would just lead us to be stuck with police or some NGO people. We have a fear and couldn’t help the society in any form.

Ours is a youth nation, our so called youth brigade can do such wonders which even they do not know they have the potential for. Our country is enriched with wealthy, power, beauty and has hailed & nurtured many civilizations. We have grown at a very fast pace after independence but at the cost of becoming threatening to nature.  We already know the causes of epidemic diseases and global warming; we keep discussing about it but never ponder to do work on it. The highly intellectual native societies today are unable to see the local environmental issues. We keep using plastic bags however they already know how hazardous it is but still they keep buying the plastic bags, and keep littering their surroundings. We keep blaming the government to first not putting the electric lines followed by no street lights and when all is done then they start complaining that there is no street light repair. Even though we are one of the richest economies of the world but are very stringent while spending for betterment of nation.

There are many people who wish to do something for their society, locality, their state and country, they wish their names should be carved in golden sheets but their wishes go in vain due to extreme social conditions & crab psychology of the people. The light in them dies eventually. Then how do they resolve the burning issues near them. Due to the influence of powerful media small groups across the country have united and are developing an online platform to give power to the countrymen and make them understand what contributions they can make without putting burden on their pockets to make that small ‘change’ that they have been thinking. They work upon various small things like road repairs, repair street lights, providing food & clothing to poor & destitute.

This young brigade keeps doing small shows, awareness programs, street plays to depict the hazardous things we do in everyday life to discuss the serious environmental issues. First of all they discuss about deforestation followed by contamination due to aerosols, plastics, chemical sprays, insecticides, pesticides, fertilizers etc. then about the ways to eradicate such problems. They also make sure whatever they discuss is being followed religiously amongst the people.  They take help from people to find problems & use their networking to make reach the voices of duped people to various governmental & non governmental agencies which are directly responsible to put a curb on any kind of unfamiliar activities happening around us.
